ENTERPRISE AI / MANAGEMENT

Give AI a clear job before asking it to do more

Start with a specific outcome

A broad instruction such as “improve operations” leaves ownership and completion unclear. A useful assignment names the business outcome, the intended user and the deliverable to review.

Provide the right business context

Identify approved knowledge and the versions that apply. Explain important terms, constraints and the responsibility of the person reviewing the work. More information is not automatically better if sources conflict or are out of date.

Define responsibility and evidence

Decide which work belongs to a person and which can be delegated to an agent. Define completion criteria before execution. A status marked complete should connect to a reviewable output, not only to an agent’s own summary.

Handle exceptions deliberately

Specify what happens when information is missing, a tool is unavailable or a request exceeds authority. Separate the affected step from other independent work so one exception does not silently stop the entire process.

Improve the operating model

Review recurring issues and actual business results. Change the instructions, sources or allocation of work when the evidence supports it. Structured management makes those changes visible and repeatable.
