CPD, compliance and certification management

CPD and continuing professional development are usually run as a process problem: credit counting, licence expiry, renewal windows, and an evidence trail that has to satisfy a professional body or an internal audit. Cyberwisdom Group treats it as a systems problem — your own rules, encoded, with the record produced as a by-product of the work rather than assembled afterwards.

Who this is for

The people who own this decision

Every business in this line is bought by someone different, and the evaluation criteria are different for each of them.

  • Compliance officers and heads of risk

  • Professional bodies and association administrators

  • HR directors with regulatory training obligations

  • Audit and quality assurance leads

The business problem

What actually goes wrong today

These are the recurring failures we are brought in to fix. They are stated as business problems, because that is how they surface in your organisation — not as feature gaps.

01

Credit hours are tracked manually, so the numbers reported to a governing body are reconstructed and therefore disputable.

02

Licence and certification expiry is discovered after the fact, not before it.

03

A qualification is not linked to the training that produced it, so the audit trail has to be reconstructed from attendance sheets.

04

Regulatory change requires re-writing the course, re-assigning it and re-communicating it — manually, every time.

How we solve it

What Cyberwisdom Group actually provides

Capability without delivery is a brochure. These are the components we deploy, configure and run — and the boundaries of each.

  • CPD, CPE and CPT schemes distinguished by jurisdiction and applied to your own rules rather than a generic model.

  • Credit accrual recorded against qualifying activities, with the activity and the evidence attached to the record.

  • Licence and certification validity tracked with renewal windows, escalation and expiry handling.

  • Real-time compliance reporting by person, team, role, region and scheme, exportable for governing bodies and quality assurance.

  • Certification management and recognition, including scheme-level configuration for professional institutes.

  • Recognition of both formal and informal learning activity — classroom, e-learning, self-directed study, workshops and events.

What we can evidence

Questions we are asked

Before you talk to us

The questions procurement, HR and compliance teams usually raise first. If yours is not here, ask it directly on WhatsApp.

They are the same underlying mechanism under different names: continuing professional development, continuing professional education and continuing professional training. The labels, the credit values, the renewal periods and the reporting bodies all differ by jurisdiction, which is exactly why generic compliance software tends to underperform in this area.

The obligation usually attaches to an individual professional whose licence or membership depends on it — but the administrative burden falls on the employer, and the reporting obligation falls on a governing body. All three parties need the same record, which is why the system has to hold it.

Yes. Your scheme defines qualifying activities, credit values, minimum and maximum hours, validity periods, and the evidence required. We encode those rules and the platform applies them, rather than asking your administrators to work around a generic model.

A consolidated report covering who is compliant, who is approaching expiry, who has lapsed, and the underlying activity and evidence for each. That report should be producible on demand rather than reconstructed on request.

Bring the learning design into view.

Explore how case-based explanation, interactive practice and assessment can structure custom anti-bribery learning. This is a course-design example; CPD recognition, credit rules and certification requirements are separate matters to confirm for your programme.

Next step

Bring us the requirement, not the brief.

We would rather start from what you actually have to prove, evidence or deliver than from a feature checklist. A conversation costs nothing and usually saves a procurement cycle.

  • What you are trying to evidence, and to whom
  • Which populations are in scope, and where they sit
  • What you run today, and what it does not give you
  • Your timeline, and any deadline you are working to

Certification management and renewal tracking

Connect training and assessment results with the certification records your organisation needs. Define eligibility, evidence, issue and expiry dates, and who can approve or amend a record.

Agree the renewal workflow and reporting needed to identify approaching expiry dates. A completion certificate is distinct from a professional licence or external accreditation.

For Hong Kong programmes, identify the relevant professional body and current requirements before defining CPD or CPT categories. Platform records support your compliance process and do not establish regulatory approval of a course.
